What's a Point?
Mathematically points represent one location in two or three dimensional
space, yet they have no thickness, width or length.
You might represent space
within a two dimensional or three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system.
However with WebGL, this animation applies a digital image, of four colors, and diameter, to points in 2D space.
How Were Points Implemented?
First with WebGL, points were texture mapped to vertices on a grid, then animated. The animation slowly moves vertices toward the center.
Later screen shots were composed with Photoshop or GIF Animator, for animation.
