About Killer Tomatoes
Aunt Lily's Kitchen
was part of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
the animated cartoon. Fox Children's Network broadcast the animation.
This animation began with two sketches and a color scheme for Aunt Lily's kitchen, provided by another artist. One sketch outlined the left side of the kitchen and the other sketch outlined the right view of the kitchen.
Artwork was then digitally painted
with Vista Tips software, which is similar to Photoshop.
American Film Technologies team combined the final graphics to prepare the original
horizontal tracking animation.
Much later, Seven Thunder Software combined the final graphics with Adobe Photoshop and
Adobe After Effects, to prepare video with music, rendered here.

Illustration was painted

Background graphics are part of the portfolio of Amy (Washburn) Butler, listed in imdb.com as Amy Washburn. I'm owner of Seven Thunder Software. However composition and color palettes were prepared by another artist on the team.
Aunt Lily's messy living room, kitchen and the lab scene's spilled liquid, look a little scary. Moss grew from bricks in the dungeon. In general, everything appeared scuffed and dirty.
2D illustration preparation included an eye for light direction, composition and consistency between
scenes. Some scenes were prepared for horizontal tracking, such
as Aunt Lily's Living Room
.
Left and right images for the room were digitally painted
separately, then combined for animation.
The San Zuchini Harbor
animation was composed from two separate scenes.
