Harp

Animation

A Kinnor, or harp, rotates over a sea of rippling glass mingled with fire.

In the Bible, the word for Kinnor is often translated as harp. Kinnors are a type of ancient Jewish stringed instrument, mentioned in the Old Testament forty two times.

The Kinnor, also known as a harp, was modeled, mapped, and rendered with 3ds Max. The harp appears on a sea of glass mingled with fire.

The harp music was downloaded from WikiMedia commons, then shortened for this animation sequence. The attribution follows. TudorTulok at English Wikipedia [CC BY-SA 3.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0) or GFDL (http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/fdl.html)], via Wikimedia Commons

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God (Revelation 15:2 KJV).
